The first one is better; the plot is not nearly as in-depth, and it focuses more on the girl rather than the extras. In the second movie, there's a pretty serious political plot happening, plus you get more of the romance between the Queen and her assistant. I really enjoyed both of them for different reasons, but for children and teens, I would say the first one.

The first one was more entertaining and witty. The second one was too unrealistic and boring.

i loved them both but i think i liked the second one better..... there was more fun moments to it like the big sleepover party scene

the first one..
its got mandy moore..
the 2nd one is quite for teen-agers i guess..
i enjoyed the part one very much

the first, it was cute and funny and it was a whole new world for the character and we got to see that

The first one was funnier but the second one had that cute guy. So I dunno...
