ohh, it was just last week and I feel soo bad! (I always keep my word)
My god son had his FIRST basketball game and I promised him I would be there.. but I got hit with a sh**load of work at the end of the day and didn;t make it home on time. Fortunately he had other people there to support him and he understood, but i still felt SOOO bad..
it;s even worse when you break a promise to a kid...
shame on me!

its been a long time ago
now i say Lord willing, or I dont commit, if I help someone its on a one time basis, so many today expect others to be their Jesus, and if you help them once they demand you help them again, yet wont go to all powerfull Jesus who would truely be their friend to help them.

Yesterday...I had to tell my daughter we were changing vacation plans...she cried buckets as she pleaded that I promised we would go. I had to wait for her to go to bed before I cried.
