Greysheet bid is $1570 if its graded by one of the top 4 companies. You should be able to get 90% of that from a dealer. If it is not graded, expect much less.

A raw MS-64 1915 21/2 Indian Head gold coin has a dealer bid of around $1,600. That is a coin not professionally graded by one of the top 4 grading services. So the above value is around what a dealer would pay. They do pay a little less and your grade and theirs may also differ.

I am a numismatist. Do as osto11 said, he or she is correct. And good luck rockhounding, that's a nice hobby. If you live anywhere near the Adirondacks, visit the Old Hooper Mine on the back road above Thirteenth Lake, off Route 28.

pcgs.com lists it as $2200 if it's been graded and packaged by their service.
Other online sites seem to have similar values. This is likely the value you would pay for this coin, though, not the value you would be able to sell it for.
