Tommy Lasorda at the all star game when Vlad Guerrero broke his bat and it went sailing and hit Tommy who was coaching third base and knocked him to the ground.

After the 1979 season Angels GM not giving Nolan Ryan a million dollar contract by saying, "We can get two pitchers to go 8-7 each for that kind of money" (or something like that). Ryan only went on to pitch for 14 more seasons, throw 3 more no-hitters, lead the NL in ERA in the LATE '80s, strike out over 300 batters 10 years later, and give Robin Ventura a noogie in the early '90s. Funny - except if you were an Angels' fan!

I don't know about funniest moment of all time but the funniest moment of 2007 for me was the game at Fenway Park where a player going after a foul ball knocks this guy's beer out of his hands and it splashes all over him and then out of the blue another fan sitting nearby seizes the moment and throws their pizza at the guy. Ha ha ha.

Maybe not THE funniest, but when I think of funny plays, the first one to generally come to mind is Orioles vs. BoSox, 2004. Manny's diving cut off of Damon's throw. It's always hilarious to watch.

At the All-Star game when Randy Johnson struck out John Kruk with Kruk holding the bat the opposite way, knowing he wasn't going to get a hit.

Last season in a Tigers game, Sean Casey got what looked to be a solid base hit out in left field. But the left fielder ran over and picked up the ball, threw it to first and got him out before he reached the base! It was hilarious, I always thought he was slow but that play just took it to a whole new level!

I remember like a decade ago, in a Braves game the bird got hit after the guy hit the ball. Is that the same thing TGAM is talking about?
