Every year I bake something and put together tins for my friends with a starbucks gift card.

I can't decide what to make this year.

Cookies? Brownies? Biscotti?

What would you like to receive if it were you?

Why not all three. Put a little of each in. That's what I do.

That sounds like a nice idea, and I would say biscotti would be the best bet for two reasons. Number one, those are such a complicated process to actually make, people hardly ever get them homemade so they would appreciate it a lot! Number two, if you are going to give Starbucks gift cards, it sort of ties in with the coffee theme.

I like to give them the dry ingredients layered in a glass j ar. You can use this for cookies or brownies. Write the directions for mixing on a pretty label and put it on the front of the jar. Cover the lid with gingham and tie a ribbon around it. It's cheap, pretty and they will have a home made treat from you to enjoy once they bake it up.

Cookies, brownies, pumpkin bread, banana nut bread, fudge, divinity candy, pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting. If you make something special, include the recipe on a card for them.

I love cookies, brownies, sweet breads. I'm really not picky. One Christmas I made a batch of pumpkin bread for everyone for Christmas and they all loved it.

I make mini cheesecakes in muffin paper cups. Gram crush, cheesecake in the middle with little cherries on top. Everytime I make them...I always see them eaten up right away. You just have to watch how you transport because they have to be cold.
