I never recieved a 86.90 check from Verizon and so i've been calling them to find out what happened. I just got the fax of the copy of the check and now my suspicions came to light. It's my husband's handwriting. He has a bad lying problem. I suspected he did it. I even had a bad dream last night that he did it. It upset me so much my stomach aches!

Now that i am almost positive it's him, do i even have the right to be upset since he is my husband and it 's "OUR" money?

I am mostly upset because he is lying. All i can think about right now is packing my **** up! Help!

It's a federal offense for someone other than you to open your mail. heh. I never open Aubrey's mail no matter what it is. Unless I ask him first.

Did he say the check never came, signed and spent it? Or did he sign and deposit it, forgetting to mention it to you?
This isn't about the check is it. It's about the bigger issue, the dishonesty. Are you looking for reasons to leave? I wish you well with that because lying is natural for people who do it all the time. Take care of yourself, whatever you do in marriage.

Cutie, a couple things:

a. You don't throw away your marriage because of this one thing.

b. Yes, you have a right to be mad. But be productive about it.

c. Talk to him. Hit him with the facts FIRST. Then talk about his lying.

d. Just because you two are married, does not give him the right to do what he did without telling you.

e. Marriage counseling would work wonders.

Ok but look at what you wrote. It seems your husband has such a huge problem with lies ..serious ones..that you are even afraid he would commit a federal offense ( forgery ).

Keep your finances separate. Do not file with the IRS with him either.

Yes you should be mad! Honesty is one of the most important things in a relationship and he should not be lying to you. You need to talk to him about his lying and he needs to stop - otherwise how can you ever trust him?

Did ya ask him about it? If he lies, tell him to grow up! He has a right to money too, but why lie about it? Just don't get some people.
