To hit the orange button, don't try to extend your pinky. There aren't enough tendons between your ring finger and pinky to stretch far enough at such short notice.

Instead, you can do one of two things.

1) When you need to hit the orange button, shift your ENTIRE hand down so your first finger is on the second button, second finger on the third button, and so on. When you need to hit the first button again, shift your entire hand back up.

2) If you don't want to move your whole hand, then move your middle finger onto the third button, ring finger onto the fourth button, and pinky on the last button. If you need to hit the second button, shift all of the fingers back up (so your middle is on the second button, ring on the third button, and pinky on the fourth button).

Practice either of these methods for a while until you get comfortable with it.

Don't wanna sound sarcastic. But practice is the best key yo. Just be patient and keep at it. Learn how to read the notes ahead of time. But don't feel bad if you don't get it at this time. Hell, hard is as good as it gets for me lol.

to press the orange fret quickly, slide your nad down a little and push it with your pinkie finger. to press a series of frets quickly (i.e. red yellow RYRYRYRY) use your pointer finger and your index finger to qucikly press them. this may require some movement for the rest of the frets.
