This seems like an odd place to have a scale to weigh yourself. Just wondering ;)

Hey, that's a good one! I find it very funny.
I dont recall seeing any big scale in the entrance of grocery stores, and if I did see one, and wasn't quite sure; I 'd ask someone who works there. I am not afraid to ask for help/advice, if I don't know. Life is a forever-learning process. We learn something new every day!
Anyhow, I know one thing for sure about this . . people (you and others on here ) got me laughing about it. LOL.

Wow! I thought for sure, that the scale outside the grocery store was to ...weigh the groceries ...on the way out. Hahahaha
It's just another money making scheme this world tries to get us involved in. Hahaha

Maybe an offshoot of my other theory.... make the doors to grocery stores and restaurants 14 inches wide.... if you're too fat to get through them, you have to lose weight before you can come in!!!!!

That would be a good way to prove you stole something, if they have you on camera, and you weigh more when you leave.... Just an idea.

Good question. I saw one of those that you could weight potatoes or fruits on last night at Wal-mart.
If you felt really frisky though, you could weigh your baby(ies)!!!
