all I know is that the movie was about a little boy, who saw a murder near a lake. his older brother told him not to tell anyone what he saw and therefore the boy stops talking at all. the boy has to go to a psychiatric thing and in the end everything works out. I remember seeing it on TCM.

Brad Renfro's character and his little brother witness a suicide that is linked to some other illegal activity.. and the little brother stops speaking. Actually a really good movie,I was surprised.
