The first thing i would do is, instead of saying you have nothing, look at yourself and your life, and try to see what you really do have, like friends and family. It may not be much, but at least it is a start. Then go from there. And i know how you feel, I felt the same way 7 years ago, but now thanx to good friends and a very loving woman, im doing alot better, so hang in there and things will work out.

In what sense do you mean you have nothing? Are you talking about materially or your self-worth? As long as you have faith and confidence in yourself, you will be able to find a stepping stone to help you start your life over again. If you lack the confidence and faith, then maybe you should pray about it and ask for direction as you try to move forward with your life. Try doing some volunteer work in your community. It will help you feel good about yourself and it will benefit others. Who knows, it may lead you down the right path in which you need to go.

the same way you started your life the first time just put on foot in front of the other. You at least at now most likely have a career and know what you want from life

You can only go up from the bottom. I know, I've done it. I got divorced, lost a $400k house, 2 cars, and all my stuff to her. I went bankrupt, almost committed suicide.
Now I have a great girl, we just bought a house and I have a dream job. Once you hit the brink of destruction you only have two choices, give up and roll over or fight back. If you fight back, it gets a little easier every day.
Good luck.

Work with what you have and start from there. Discipline is what you need. I'm not sure when you said "nothing", are you talking about material things or emotional?
Material things can come and go. As long as you happy with yourself, everything will come to place.
Good luck.

If it were me, I'd start it the same way I started my life at 18, when I had nothing. It's no different -- only different in your mind.

as everyone i guess, if you have no qualifications, go back to school while doing a part-time or even full time job to survive.
Students do that, the only thing different is their younger age and your great experience.
Good luck; eveything's possible when you belive it is.
