Yes it is unreasonable but a lot of hotels do charge it everywhere. If you dont want to pay it then just say that there is only 2 people staying in the room!

I have been to a lot of places where the hotels charge extra for more than two people per room. I don't think its just a Vegas thing.

When we travel with 3 or 4 in a room the 2 people the room is registered under just ask for a couple extra keys. I happen to mention that is in case one of us leaves our key(s) in the room the 2nd person can give them one. I'm sure the desk employees have a good clue but they never say anything.

Isn't just Vegas. Lots of hotels do it all over. They say that it covers the added cost for laundering more linens. I think its just a way to up the room cost but that's the hotel's prerogative.

Did you tell them there were more than two people in the room? If you do not and they do not find out, then they will not charge you.

They probably want the other people to rent their own rooms. Whether it is unreasonable is up to the marketplace.

I went to a occasion at Imperial Palace, the room had a reasonably great balcony. It develop into actual under $2 hundred. all the greater moderen shape has a tendency to not have doorways/abode windows that open. i've got stayed in an MGM terrace suite, yet that develop into incredibly high priced.

its because another person is an added expence in utilities, laundry, housekeeping etc. Don't feel bad I pay it as well.
