I have recently figured out who has been hacking into my email. If I can prove it, is there anything I can do?

I know that what he's doing is illegal, I just really want to know if there is anyway I can prove it and who I contact when I do.

I have changed my password several times, he has sent things including the message he sent to me from my own account that let me know who he is because of something he said in it that only he would say.

First off, I am not computer savy enough to hack.
Secondly, I will not stoop down to their level of immaturity and stupidity. I will not do something illegal just to get back at someone.

Call your local State Police number and make an appointment with an officer to talk about it. Tell them a why you need to see someone so they'll make a short report over the phone. State Police officers have 'specialists' who work on this kind of thing. Hacking into someones computer is a federal offense and can be dangerous.

Call the FBI and Homeland Security and tell them he's a terrorist hacker. Then they'll hack everything he owns and get a taste of his own medicine.

On a more serious note, I think there is a Cyber Crime division somewhere in the government. But you must have proof if asked. Also try calling Police to see if they know what you can do.
