The answer is, it depends on whether you've already ovulated at the time you take it.
If the "emergency" happened before ovulation, and the Plan B pill simply delays it a little longer, there's no fertilized egg to interfere with, and therefore no moral dilemma.
The problem is that a lot of people seem to think it ONLY works by preventing ovulation, as if women ovulated in response to sex, like cats. I wish people would take as much time to learn about their bodies, and the drugs they put inside them, as they do researching far less important things, like a vacation destination or a new car.

Plan B is not an abortion pill, it is to stop the egg from being fertilized so pregnancy will not occur. It will not work if someone is already pregnant, which is a common misunderstanding. From a religious point I think Plan B would be acceptable. I am not going into whether I feel abortion is right or wrong because everyone believes something different.

I don't think it's wrong. You don't even know if you are going to be pregnant. The pill is just a precaution. An abortion is you going into a doctor knowing that you are pregnant and willingly saying you are going to kill your child. While the plan b pill is saying that there is a possibility that I could be pregnant at a later time and you want to make sure that doesn't happen. I think they are kind of different.

I don't think its wrong. I'm married and I was bought up catholic, I don't believe in religion any more but I have used the plan B pill ..
I went to an doctor after running out of birth control and he refused to give me a prescription for birth control so I went to a clinic. They gave me the birth control and the morning after pill just in case. I was not ready to be a parent financially or mentally, an abortion was out of the question, and I figured that was best for all.

what number circumstances ought to you purchase plan B? If greater effective than as quickly as and you fail to benefit your lesson, you're heavily screwed up. 50 is an particularly genuine looking fee. it rather is incredibly lots in basic terms a %. of start administration pills which you double up on till you get sick and your hormones are unbelieveably out of whack. A %. of bcp expenditures around 30 for the month dose. So the cost is comparable. Plus, it additionally should incorporate a being pregnant try, considering the fact which you are able to not take it in case you're already pregnant. There you bypass with the greater 20 greenbacks. After one journey of barfing and bleeding, maximum classic human beings might start up taking genuine start administration. actual, it could abort a fetus that's not yet implanted, so technically definite, it rather is an abortion pill. young ones should not be allowed to purchase plan B. in the event that they're already pregnant and use it, they could heavily f**ok up the fetus. Then they the two have an abortion or danger a defective infant. I completely assure this drug would be misused. The intense value reduces this probability. the young ones ought to work out a doctor, get a being pregnant try till now taking plan B. it is going to by no capacity have long gone over-the-counter. Then, the teenager ought to work out a doctor, and get acceptable care. additionally, in case you're having unpredicted, unprotected intercourse, you actual ought to work out a doctor besides, so she will start up you on smart birth control and consider for VD and HIV. Plan B will kill young ones (no scientific care after volatile intercourse) and it is going to additionally kill fetuses (pregnant young ones utilising it and aborted pre-implant embryos)

i am a christian and i dont think that plan b is the same as an abortion. i think plan b should be available to women who have been raped so they do not have to make an awlful choice whether to keep the baby or not. however i dont think that plan b should be used as a form of birth control (which it is) i have a hard time understanding why someone who doesnt want to have a baby does not PRE cautions.

I feel that this pill should only be used in a case of rape, incest....etc. It is just another way of people trying to come up with a way to make themselves feel OK about killing a child. If you are a consenting adult that had sex with someone and did not use protection, you know what the consequences could possibly be. People need to be focused on prevention more than termination. Congrats on your pending arrival.

I dont know, Iam kinda in limbo about it. If its taken the day after I dont think its an abortion. But so many people take it later and its after conception.
I really dont know. I prefer it to later abortions, but I still think its better not to get pregnant in the first place.

I think we all have to make the choices ourselves. I personally think it isn't right if the egg were already fertilised but it if weren't and it just kept the egg from implanting then it wouldn't be. There are a lot of reason women do the things they do rape is one of them. I think God would understand. But I could be wrong.

this is a very tricky question. i believe that its personal opinion. christians (am one just like you not practicing) think that abortion is killing and well thats one of the 10 commandments. i think if you arent ready, take the birth control pill, condoms.... or just dont have sex! glad to know that you are happy and congrats!! and good luck!
