I see scary movies crows biting people is that for real or just in the movies?

A Murder of crows (a group) will or may swoop near you
if you got too near their food,but on its own a single crow
is scared witless of humans,as are all big birds the bigger a bird the more it will keep away from you,probably because it takes the bigger birds 2x as long to get airborne and out of harms way as the time it takes smaller birds to escape

A murder of crows needs about at least 5 crows in order to get the courage to defend its nests or food, and yes, they DO peck and scrath, and they can be very very evil, mostly symbolic to Death's Pet, and they are very smart creatures too. Able to open locks, mimic people and other cool things.

A guy I worked with got attacked by crows because he was carrying a black umbrella under his arm. The crows must have thought it was one of their own. This was in the parking lot when we were going home.

No, they actually do. Especially when they are defending something, such as a nest somewhere close.

Yes they can, so can magpies etc. They have nasty beaks and can easily draw blood.
