I just wanted to let you guys know that on the news it said there may be a link to acupuncture and getting pregnant, there is no solid link yet, but many women who couldnt get pregnant did after acupuncture. Hey it doesnt hurt, even if you tried it and it didn't work, you will be stress fee and relaxed.

It was on Fox Baltimore

Its true. Accupuncture works wonders for all sorts of things.

I think it actually works BECAUSE it relaxes you.

And you're right, it doesnt hurt.. unless you try to move. lol. But even that isnt super painful. Its actually really fun, I love it- and I have a fear of needles too. That says a lot.

My husband and I both tried accupuncture - once a week for about 5 or 6 weeks. It didnt work for us, but we had to stop due to my husband having to take a couple weeks off work to take a medical course. Even though it didnt work, yet, I've been thinking about going back. After all, it's cheaper than most fertility treatments, and its very relaxing - once the needles are in hehehe It definately helps with the stress of TTC. We tried when it had been 15 - 16 months of ttc. We're now on 19 months trying, so I know about the stress! I think it's been proven to help aid in treatments such as IVF - that they had a much higher success rate of it working, when combined with accupuncture. OOPS, sorry for the babble :) My opinion - give it a try - if nothing else, it'll help relax you and help you feel that you're doing more to actively make it happen! Good luck and keep us posted! SUPER sticky baby dust to you... and me.. and all others trying!

I tried acupuncture for fertility issues and painful period issues. Now, it did help A LOT with the pain issues, but I didn't conceive while doing acupuncture. I am not saying it won't work...I think it might for some women. And yes, it is DEFINITELY worth a shot. It doesn't hurt and it's really relaxing. OH, and it did help with my seasonal allergy issues. :)
