I mean, is there ever a time they stop demanding from your husband, even though she's remarried and their kids grown up?

She demanded 2 policies in the divorce agreement from him which she verbally agreed afterwards the kids could have, as she changed her mind from wanting their cheaper home to the more expensive one and he felt she got more than what they agreed. The kids are 25 and 27 respectively. Can she lay claim to his annuities after the divorce? She is brown-nosing with his family now, because his mom and aunty are sick and probably don't have much time left - she's just out to see what she can get from them - over the weekend she was digging plants up from the poor old lady's house after they went into an old age home.

If the husband has no financial and/or parenting obligations to the ex, then the demands stop when the husband puts his foot down and refuses to allow it anymore.
You can't make it stop, and talking to the ex yourself is a bad idea because all that will do is put you in competition with the ex, and will make you look bad. Additionally, it lets the ex know that it's bothering you and that she still has a finger in the husband's pie, so to speak.
What you can do is let you husband know how you feel, let him know what you will and won't accept, and be prepared to follow through with it if the situation is something you really can't live with.
The only person's behavior you can control is your own. So make sure that in all things you love, honor and respect yourself. No one else will until you do it first.
I hope this helps.

I know exactly what you mean; even thou this one wasn't even an ex wive she just happen to live with my guy and now has a child by him and he wasn't even with her long after the child was born. She still tries to lay claim to him. She was about to lose him when oops all of a sudden she became pregnant and she knew he would try to do the right thing. But he couldn't stay with her and is now with me and she blames me for not being able to get him back and I have even left him for weeks at a time and he still won't go back to her. When will she ever learn that having a child by someone doesn't always make the dad love the mom. He will always love the child!!
Hey M (if this is you) you and I could really have some good conversations about this!!!!!

Like what is she demanding? And how old are the kids? I dont know I just dont get it. Dont get me wrong I loathe my ex and we have a child together and far be it from me to demand a damn thing except child support and respect. Anyway it will never stop. He needs to quit answering the phone when she calls and if she leaves a message dont call back unless she says something has happened to the kids. She will stop eventually.

No.
Women have a memory that lasts a lifetime. So long as the man is still breathing, he's still got the target on his back for her demands.

Your husband needs to let her know what he thinks of her demands and he needs to put an expiration date on them....starting right now.

When the children are no longer under the control of a court order or, if no children, see JF's answer.

Depends on HIM! Why is he even putting up with her at this point? Don't take her calls, answer your door when she is on the other side and plain refuse to talk to her!

no, but if the husband reminds them that they're actually "expired"...then they should take it into the head, because the hubby must be fade up by them by that time.
