I'm married and he's married, he flirted with me very strongly but had no other intentions of going further with it. He knows we are both married & that matters to both of us. He has had a thing for me for a long time, came on to me very strong verbally. Then he must have felt guilty cuz everytime we chatted after that he brought up his wife his kids etc. He saw me out with my friends for girls night out and we were having a blast. I never saw him but he saw me. When I have a few drinks I smoke, he must have been shocked to see me smoke and he came up to me a few days later and made a comment asking if I had fun on Friday and then threw in how smoky it was in there. He really needs to just back off already and worry about his wife. I don't know him well enough for him to ask me something like that. I feel like he told me that as almost a slap on the wrist, as to let me know he saw me doing something that he didn't approve of. Should I tell him to mind his own business or not?

In the future, I would speak and go on! There's no good to be had from a married guy who flirts. Say something like..."I've got to run. I'm meeting my husband and we've got a great evening planned. I don't want to miss a second of it."

You said you "don't know him well enough for him to ask me something like that." I think HE doesn't know you well enough to be so intrusive - tell him!! Thank him for his concern but also tell him what you do is none of his business. Unless and UNTIL you live together he is no more than a grain of sand on your beach, or an insignificant brick in your wall of life - he's not your whole beach nor is he your life's pillar! Tell him before he begins stalking you!! Unless of course you enjoy his attentions.

Absolutely he should mind his own business!
And the idea of him seeing you in a place but not actually coming up to say hi is pretty creepy. It's like he was spying on you or something.
Stay well away from this guy. He sounds like a wierdo.

Yes u need to tell him to back off and mind his own buisness. He shouldn't be worried and what u do! And to see u and not say something?? He sounds like a freaking stalker. Stay the hell away from this creep. Tell your husband about it!!

His behavior sounds borderline "stalker" and you're encouraging him by continuing to talk to him.
If his behavior bothers you, tell him firmly that unless it's work related you don't have time to talk to him.
When he flirts or comes on to you verbally, say, "I find that behavior inappropriate and if it happens again I will report you to HR." Then follow through. If your place of employment doesn't have a human relations department, then talk to your boss and find out what sexual harassment policies are in place and how to report.

You don't know him well enough for him to ask you if you had a good time out?
Yes you should tell him to not worry about what you do and to worry more about his life and wife.

I guess you are getting all the answers that you want to hear. Okay, let me tell you this: you DO care what he thinks about you and it stings that he disapproves of your smoking. Well, you shouldn't be smoking anyway! So stop pretending that he means nothing to you.

What do you mean, he did'nt approve of? Your not married to him, tell him to back off. Each time you see him ask how his wife and kids are doing.

It takes two people to "flirt very strongly." You can step down off your high horse, since you keep allowing it. You have no moral high ground to preach from, cupcake.
What's that line from 'Full Metal Jacket" that fits the two of you?
"I am going to [sterilize you], Private Pyle, so you cannot infect the rest of the world."

Why do you even care what he thinks? Ignore him !!! So, he was shocked to see you smoke...big deal. Do you need his approval or something?
