it is near the escobar international airport. but you have to collect the 100 hidden packages to get the hunter helicopter

The base is right next to the airport. Fly over it with a helicopter and watch them shoot at you so be careful. As far as i can recall you get no army helicopter. The closest thing to it is every so often a sea sparrow copter with guns mounted on it spawns in at Diaz's mansion once you aquire it. However I believe you have to get either a certain amount of hidden packages or money to aquire it to do so.
No planes are drivable in Vice City. In San Andreas they are though (you can also swim in San Andreas).
No copters on the base BUT you're secret weapon is there once you aquire it after completing the missions.

Hmmm. a lot of incorrect information in here.


1) The army base is near the airport, in the SW of the map. You cannot get there (mostly) until after the mission "pnom phen"

2) The army helicopter is in the army base, in the nw part of the army base. To avoid getting shot at, you need to get a police uniform. I think you get a police uniform during one of the diaz mansion missions. Once you have one, don't change out of it, but instead go to the front of the base, hop over the barrier, and walk around to the helicopter. once you get in the copter, they will start firing on you, so get in the air quickly.

3, 4, and 6 are duplicate questions.

5) during one of the "movie studio" missions ( you have to buy the movie studio in order to do these missions), you get to fly an airplane.

Additional info: if you collect 80 hidden packages, you will get a sea helicopter with a mini gun. If you collect 100 packages and finish the game, you will get an army helicopter spawn point in the SE of the map.

6]Till here i could not get any helicopter in army base. Just there is a helipad not a helicopter.

There is one on the mansion you will acquire when you kill Diaz. On top of that mansion will be a helicopter. If its not there, get a car drive away and come back, then it should be there.

got to downtown near that love fist place.
take right and go straight until u see a small,very small cutting.
go into that cutting and stop in the middle,it'll be written "roof access"
go inside that door and you'll reach a place where you will find a maverick helicopter.
