Admit it, you would. What does that say about our intellect, in the final analysis?

Think about it. Any coarse sandpaper (notice the correct spelling) would be consumed in a nuclear war just as quick as any other paper product.

In that event, not much would be left standing. Human ingenuity would come to bear and take care of the sanitation problem.

I am yet to hear of a nuclear war that specifically targets toilet paper. Moreover, I am not sure that the use of sandpaper would reflect negatively on our intellect, but rather merely reflect our need for hygeine.

Sandpaper is paper, so it would be burned up too, in your scenario.

People went to the bathroom before there was toilet paper, and they seem to have done OK, so "paper" doesn't necesarily have to be the only item used for cleaning up after a restroom visit.

I would use leaves. I would just need to be careful that I don;t accidently pick up some Poison Ivy. Talk about ruining your weekend!

In the event there are no more trees, I would just use small animals. Squirrels would be perfect. Rabbits are a little large, but their ears would work nicely. Just have to be careful they don't nibble my bum or something.
