what kind of help can you get someone who just steals, there is a name for it....but I want to know what can be done for it..before this person finds themselves in jail..thanks

The term you are looking for is "Kleptomania." It's an uncontrollable impulse to steal. She needs therapy to help control her impulses.

Most females are prone to be cleptomaniacs. They've been raised to all believe their princesses and that they always deserve what they want, so most start stealing because they know if they don't, they won't get it. Time to lay down some rules - punishments are the only way. Bring her to a local jail celler and let her see where she'll end up if she continues.

try to talk to her, and let her open up to you, let her tell you all, what she really feels. in that way you can see if she is suffering from kleptomania.
