Most people can get a deploma by gratuating from High School or taking a 3 month GED course, taking the exam and passing the end test. But it takes at least four years in a College or a University to earn a degree. High School is always a requierment before going on to a College or a University, and by graduation only. ....if you graduate. Therefore, a diploma is first, a degree second, but it is the result of a greater and higher level of learning.

Technically speaking, a degree is given at the university level after finishing a varied, in-depth course of study in a particular field.

However a "diploma" is simply a certificate saying you have finished a particular course. It can be given at the highschool level, or simply at the end of a weekend seminar. "Diploma" refers to the piece of paper saying you've finished whatever it was satisfactorily.

i do not stay in australia yet from what i understand, a level is different from having a level. a level is for 2 twelve months classes or a lot less and a level calls for a minimum of four years of education from colleges or universities. frequently, jobs right here require that someone has a minimum of a school degree.
