Okay, i've done some to show you how to work it out but the most important thing you need to know is:
four consectuvive intergers: x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3)
four consecutive even intergers: 2x+(2x+2)+(2x+4)+(2x+6)
four consecutive off intergers:(2x-1)+[(2x-1)+2]+[(2x-1)+4]+[(2x-1)+6]

Four consecutive interger whose sum is 114:
x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3)=114
4x+6=114
4x=108
x=27, the intergers are 27, 28, 29, 30

sum of first and second are 63:
x+(x+1)=63
2x+1=63
2x=62
x=31, intergers are 31, 32, 33, 34

4 consecutive even intergers whose sum is 140:
2x+(2x+2)+(2x+4)+(2x+6)=140
8x+12=140
8x=128
x=16, intergers are 32, 34, 36, 38

sum of three consecutive intergers sum is -21
x+(x+1)+(x+2)=-21
3x+3=-21
3x=-24
x=-8, intergers are -8,-7,-6

the sum of the lease and greatest of three consec intergers is 50:
x+(x+2)=50
2x+2=50
2x=48
x=24, middle interger is 25

I'm sure this is enough, so you get the general idea. If you get stuck, don't be afraid to ask your teacher, they're there to help.

1) 27, 28, 29, 30
2) 31, 32, 33, 34
3) 12 in, 14 in, 16 in, 18 in
4) 32, 34, 36, 38
5) -6, -7, -8
6) 25
7) -5, -6
8) 501, 503, 505
9) 7, 9, 11
10) 8, 9

7) let smaller integer be x
larger integer: 2x+7
diff. between large & small: x+7
x+7=1
x=-6
larger integer= -6+1= 5

2(-6)+7
= -12+7
=-5

i'm not doing all these. use your algebra skills and represent n for the first number and (n+1) as the second consecutive number and so on. So for number one:

n+n+1+n+2+n+3=114
4n=108
n=27
So it's 27, 28, 29, 30

The rest are simple. Don't make people do them all just to "check" answers. If you are really stuck, just post one or two that you need help. It would be ridiculous for me to do all of them when you can do them. If you get them wrong, so what? If it's a take-home test, this constitutes cheating.
