Jack Kennedy. The last Rebublican I really liked politically was Eisenhower. Nixon and Ford were the last republicans with that kind of middle of the road politics, now dumped by the reactionaries that hijacked the GOP in the Reagan era. FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton...overall these guys were good for the American wage-earner, and that's what matters to me. Everything in the world is on the backs of the guys that tote the barges and lift the bales.....as a rule the GOP since Reagan has screwed these people in favor of trans-national corporations, the 'rich' and the powerful. Who needs these bums?

Johnson, I regretted so much I tried to vote for loses for president so I would not feel responsible, and I succeeded until 92. That did not turn out nearly as bad.

I voted for Dole/Kemp in 96.

That was the last time I ever did, or ever will vote for a Senator.

Looking back, if Steve Forbes, or Pat Buchanan won the gop nomination in 1996, and went on to win the whitehouse, we'd be much better off.

Ford in 1976, thought Carter was an upstart with not enough experience for the national stage.

Jimmy Carter in 1976. He had integrity and was ahead of his time then, and I admire him even more over the past 30+ years. I truly believe that if we'd kept and followed his Energy Plan, we wouldn't be in the clutches of OPEC as we are now.

Jimmy Carter I also voted for Phil Gramm before he abandoned the Democrat party. I actually met Mr. Gramm in front of the polling place in Duncanville, TX. the day of the election. Of those two the one I regret voting for was Mr. Gramm.
