if its 10.00am(PDT) then what time would it be in Vietnam?

If it is Pacific DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME, then it would be 12:00 AM (tomorrow) in Saigon if it is 10:00 AM in Los Angeles. If it is Pacific STANDARD TIME, then it would be 1:00 AM in Saigon.

When my wife was in Vietnam, I used a different but effective means to remember the time in Vietnam. Instead of trying to calculate Vietnam being 14 or 15 hours ahead, I calculate it being 9 or 10 hours behind plus a day. At least for me, it's easier to figure out what time it is there.
