Will your office or school have a Holiday party ? What do they do to make it interesting ?

Our office has a party every year. It's usually at some lavish place, pretty formal. It's because they combine our Office Party with a Party to all of our Clients and Customers over the past year.

We might have a Christmas lunch somewhere....I am not sure what will happen yet. It will just be a time to get together and talk over lunch....it is usually quite enjoyable! In years gone by, there used to be a bigger party in our common room around Christmas time where the food was just drinks and nibbles....quite a lot of people used to come! That was a better chance to talk to people and have a good time.....I am not sure if it will happen this year, though.

My company is run by Indians. Since it is the season for Diwali we are having our holiday party this Saturday. A little early for sure.

We're not having a party at my school, but we are having a thanksgiving dinner in a few days. It's the only time of year that the cafeteria food isn't inedible gruel.

Yeah, my company has one..they have an open bar for an hour before dinner! Needless to say the night is always interesting, what with everybody tryin to cram down as many drinks as possible in the short time they have when they're free!...lol

They already had one for me since I'm leaving the country for the states. We closed the office early,my boss opened a bottle of French champagne, and our hygienist bought me flowers imported from Africa. Awesome. Then we all went out to dinner in a very pricey French restaurant...next day I had to cancel patients;-)

Work now gives us a $30 gift cart to celebrate the holiday season...

I do not work or go to school so NO PARTY for me ,,,but I go to lots of the of my friends....

not for thanksgiving,but for Christmas!we will have a Christmas party at school and i have to entertain the kids for 6 hours!!!"help!!"hehe!!
