Some people won't like this, but birth control is a big part of the answer. Resources are finite, and if the population exceeds the resources there will be poverty. It should not be the responsibility of others to care for the offspring of those who breed excessively expecting others to bear the expense.

Take the money that is used for useless things like weapons, cigarettes, liker, or simply put, the money from the rich and invest it in small communities with poverty around the world, also we should follow their progress and give them only tips and guidance about what to do with the money.

And that includes manners and etiquette and respect and all the other social aspects of training children.
A 'book smart' child who grows up without any manners is just about as bad an adult as an uneducated one.
People who have respect for one another will NOT start wars, etc. (Watch children who are not trained to respect - you will see them grabbing things away from other children, etc. They actually have to be taught to respect and love)
People who are taught love as youngsters will be able to improve the entire world by their behavior.
People who are NOT taught love and respect will try to 'own' the world and will cause great misery to the entire world...and eventually, themselves.
