Philosophy for me is asking more in depth philosophical questions and knowing the true answers. It is a continued quest to understand all the things that bother our minds. It is a joy of understanding to gain more wisdom.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

To me philosophy is looking past all the drama and specific events in daily life and trying to figure out what the overall picture is.
It's kind of like drawing out a strategic plan to achieve a major goal - along the way you have steps that must be performed in order to reach the goal, but the goal itself is not the individual steps required to achieve it.
I look at life the same way - we would not be who we are without the individual incidents and experiences that we encounter each day, but those are not who we are overall. However, without those individual elements, we could not have arrived at the place we are now; conversely, if we wish not to be at the place we are, then we must change the events that led us there and not remain stagnant.
This is not to say, that we can change history, because you can't. But in order that we become someone different than who we are by natural occurence, we must focus our energy into avoiding negatively impacting experiences and try to redirect ourselves into situations that will bring us to the ultimate place we wish to be.
There is no way to shield ourselves from all negative energies and experiences, but with the right choices, we can minimize the amount of these which will divert us from our long range goals, thereby maximizing our control over our own destiny and the time it takes to become who we want to be.
With each daily life event, we must analyze whether we have become diverted from the path we wish to be on, and if so, then realign our aim in the direction we should be heading to arrive at our desired place in the minimum amount of time.

Philosophy to me is a way of thinking that can dive deep into the sea of truth to collect the gems underneath the apparently salty and surfing waters... directed spiritually, it can lead us, in my view, to a way of life that can attain the highest goal of life, namely, stable happiness (eternal joy)!! In my view, it is more than love of wisdom..... it is a meaningful search for deeper truths.
