I have asked many questions on relationships between men and women. And have gotten various responses. If I pay attention to type of songs women listen to, and the type of movies women watch, and the types of books women read, then I could get a pretty good understanding of what is at the very core of a woman. At least to the degree of what she wants from a man, or what she wants her man to be.
Whether she waited for that type of man, or maybe settled is a different story. I know we get hurt, and we at times go into a protective mode.
But, Ladies, truly tell, is the type of man you read about, watch in movies you like, and hear them sing, the type of man you used to dream about?
The "I swear" song
"Must be doing something right"
Turn out the lights...
just to name a few...... comments ladies?
sorry for the lentgh
If you find this interesting please star me, so I will know if I am improving on my questions.... thank you

not trying to read their minds.... just noticing things about relationships and what each wants

I've never really thought too much about it. I will agree that often I think women see movies and want that perfect relationship (The Notebook comes to mind)...little girls are fed all the fairytales when they grow up and it takes awhile to realize that it's crap (for the most part).
Honestly, I like all different kinds of music and all different kinds of men. One of the big draws for me to male songwriters is that they are expressing themselves and doing it in a very romantic way, something that is not unheard of with "regular" men but that I have found to be fairly rare.
I stopped looking for that fairytale man awhile ago and now just look for honesty and loyalty.

"Must be doing something right"
Awesome song..and most definitely I want a man to give all that song is talking about. What woman would not.
I do not think as far as show or movies..that I look for the type of man that they depict. I want a man that shares my passion and truly understands that I like to pick up a greasy wrench and help work on dirt bikes, I have the need to stomp through the mud and travel across the country and spend whatever it cost (my own money) to follow my passions...it may sound crazy but very few men respect my passion and do not even try to understand it. Your question was great!

I can honestly say the men in my life have not been dream men. I have fallen in love 7 times or more, with guys from all backgrounds, all shapes and sizes..... I am a romantic.....but there has to be a really strong physical chemistry....across the room magnetic power....for me to have any interest. If that's not there...it wouldn't matter if he was Brad Pitt or George Clooney.
My favourite romantic song is THREE TIMES A LADY....

livin' our love song is a really good song. I think one of my "new favorites" The man I fell in love with, was nothing like the man of my dreams..... Not what I had in my head anyways.... But he has totally surpassed that. I guess I just had to have him standing there to know what I wanted. So, I don't think you can "read" a girl by what her favorite movie, song, or book is. Some girls, Like me, don't know what they want till they have it! Good luck, your perfect girl will find you, and when she does hang on, it will be one wild ride!

Just to put in my two cents worth.......my favorite romantic song is "Harvest Moon" .

Next is I don't have to worry about any of this because I have been happily married for 32 years.

Good luck on whatever you are trying to accomplish!! : )

Have a good day, Garrett (star for you)

Good thing you aren't trieng to read our minds. You would never succeed. We like what we like and that can change anytime. What we really like in men is for them to be respectful and trustworthy and loyal. There aren't alot of men left, but only immature boys who want to be men,but just don't want to straghten up long enough to become a descent man.

i think all women deep down want the man that will make them happy, feel safe and content.

like my song with my husband is i cross my heart by george strait and i wanted all of those things. he gives me all that i want and need. i didnt settle, when i met him i knew he was the one i wanted. i "settled" in my first marriage and obviously it didnt work.

i am lucky i think because alot of people wait for their "ideal" mate and never find them because their expectations are too high. you cant always find exactly what you want but you can get damn close.

my very own hand extremely than somebody else's in my ex wifes's cleavage she had only slightly concern staying honest i'm afraid. The final time I published some thing that i'd deem as my opinion somebody mentioned it while all i replaced into doing replaced into telling the fact.

Sounds like you are trying to "read the minds" of all the women out there to try to "be" the kind of guy she wants ?

Trust me, friend, just be yourself. No need to exhaust yourself on trying to guess what they want. All you gotta do is find that one that wants you.

Good luck.

well for me i listen to those songs and i think they are sweet and wouldnt mind if my guy was like that but i know he's him and he can be sweet once in awhile and in his own way and i think that's what makes me want him/love him...

I think all girls watch love movies, listen to love songs or read love books would love if they had the love like that but we know those are books or movies not real life..
