Yups.
I use to drop loose change in a cylindrical container (used for storing art-paper) for the last ten years.
A couple of months back, I was broke and needed money to carry me on for a week before my next salary. My surprise: I had more than Rs 5000 in the box which saw me through the week very comfortably.

I have a tea can actually ... Its full but its small so I'm guessing theres only like £5.00 in there so roughly $10.40... I need a bigger jar.....
I used to do it a lot the most I got was $500 I saved up for a few years.

Yes,I do the last time I emptied about 8 years ago, I had 600 bucks, 43 bucks just in pennies. I'm thinking 6-800 dollars in there now.

Yes, quarters in one jar, dimes in another.
I'd be guessing but I think around $400.00 - $500.00 total. I've been doing it a LONG time.

The youngest collects all our pennies. She has collected $60 so far this year. She buys Christmas presents with it.
