Ok, my partner and I have been trying to conceive. I'm waiting to test and my period is a few days late and so far there has been nothing but a tiny bit of clear discharge. I was planning on waiting till it was a whole week late. However, for the past few days one of my kittens has started acting strange...he's really clingy (only seems to want me and not my partner) and keeps meowing at me. Do you think he knows I'm pregnant?? Has anyone had experience of this?? Thanks.

All of my babies (3 cats) knew I was actually. and still act strange. My one cat Peanuts when I go into the bathroom and have my dose of morning sickness comes up behind me and rubs my back. My other cat Sylvester who is a loner when my husband leaves for work early in the morning will come up on the bed and lay by my stomache and purr. And Vada my princess is getting really jealous.

Its really really odd how animals know what you are going through and how they each try and help through their different personality traits.

What does that have to do with her question!?

Yes, I think my dog knew I was pregnant before I knew. A few days before I found out I was pregnant he was really clingy. He always wanted to lay on my belly which is not like him. He wanted to follow me everywhere and got really, really upset when I would get ready to leave and go somewhere. The strangest thing though is that he did not want anyone in our house or to touch me. He was growling at anyone who touched me; even my mom when she hugged me and that is just not like him. A few days after all of this I found out I was pregnant. It took him about two weeks and it was almost like he knew that I had found out so he chilled out. He has been fine through out the pregnancy now so far, but he still does not like me to leave him. It is almost if he thinks I am not going to be protected with out him. Best wishes to you.

it's funny you asked this because our puppy is the same way. but i know i am pregnant (36 weeks) she tends to climb up and lay on my belly and doesn't mind being kicked at all. but then again what's she gonna do she only weighs about 1 1/2 pounds LOL i think they have a clue but not what it is. but i wish you luck on your pregnancy.
