There is a major flaw in your question.

I don't think any Europeans made it their priority to conquer Asia. They did not have the numbers, the continent of Asia is too large, and the peoples too numerous to be conquered by any one European country alone.

Not God - the missionaries numbers were too small, and they were never an effective fighting force.

Not Glory - the numbers of early Europeans who went with conquest in their minds and who died of the various diseases may have lived a moment of glory or two - but their deaths were far from glorious.

Gold - the Europeans only had to conquer individual Asian countries to gain the preferred trading concessions which allowed them to make their Asian ventures profitable.

Spices, silk and tea. However, the first two were known before exploration and conquest started, the third discovered as a result of exploration and conquest. Spices were the main reason - due to the lack of refrigeration and the need both the preserve food, particularly meat, and to hide the taste of rotting meat.
