How gorgeous - i admire organic wood fixtures and have countless it at my place too. My wood fixtures seems stunning in my diminished bluey gray mattress room, mushy greyish green lounge and quarter spanish white eating room. simply by fact wood is brown, one in all 'nature's colorations, you could no longer circulate incorrect in case you % a coloration from nature that will improve the organic splendor and heat temperature of the wood. Corny because it would sound, you will locate that mom Nature would not get her shade mixtures incorrect! you need to objective a stunning diminished restful green, a coloration of blue/gray or teal, even the in simple terms right coloration of orange, in case you're feeling ambitious... All will assessment with (and consequently emphasise) the attention-catching shade of the wood. countless neutrals will artwork too, yet sidestep the muddy neutrals that don't improve the colour of the wood. in the journey that your room is sunny and heat, it could manage the cooler colorations, yet while that could be a shady room, i might % a lighter or warmer coloration or independent. however the main mandatory element is to % a coloration you like and which you will stay with.

As a designer, I would say there isn't just one PERFECT color combo. There are several depending on what message you're trying to pass on.
for two color combinations try white/blue or green/brown etc
for three color combinations try red/black/yellow or ivory/gold/brown
It also depends on what shade of each colour u use. Usually, the colors opposite each other on the color spectrum are the colors that go.
Check this out: http://www.avivadirectory.com/color/

Hope it helps!!!

Look at a colour wheel.
The two opposite colours are called contrasting colours. In my opinion these make the best combinations (eg purple and yellow, green and red, blue and orange...).
Or for three colours, imagine a triangle in the middle of the colour wheel and the colours the three points are on make up the best combo.
You can get some really good combinations using a colour wheel, I reccomend you research it. :)
I've found them invaluable as an illustrator.

Thank you! Thank you, "mayv."
I can't believe everyone else actually attepted to answer this with specific colors.
If there were, only "perfect" color combinations, then EVERY artist woud be using them, to the exclusion of all others. The "perfect" colors are the ones that work best in THAT, specific, image.
Otherwise, there IS no "best."
