Prostitution is as old as mankind and it’s called the oldest business of the world...
As soon as men will not demand these sexual services prostitution won’t exist anymore. But reality is not like this, as you can go to the smallest African village and you will always find a prostitute who is willing to sell her sexual favours.
Even in Islamic countries, where sex outside marriage, cheating and prostitution is punished severely by so-called sharia laws prostitution does exist.
I have recently seen in a documental on TV, that in the Islamic state of Iran people can sign a contract for a so-called "temporally marriage", which can last a couple of days or weeks and women have to get paid when the divorce takes place.
This is a socially accepted kind of prostitution.
But talking about India, unfortunately prostitution always hits the poorest women and very few of them do not find a way out of this vicious circle.
It’s because once a prostitute - always a prostitute... and talking about the prostitutes children, due to the non-officially existing caste system, these poor little girls will be also prostitutes when they are old enough...
I think, that first society has to change and recognize, that these children can have a different and better future.
It’s nothing to do with a bad karma it’s ignorance.
Most schools in India do not accept children of prostitutes, so what will happen to them?
Men take their mouth full and many of the habitual clients are eager to marry an innocent girl, talking about human virtuosity, but secretly they accept the services of a prostitute, not even thinking about the danger of unprotected sex.
This society is double standard.
Prostitution is not necessary for nobody, although some people say yes it is.
These men who rape women and girls do not visit prostitutes, these sort of men love to feel superior to females and are seriously sick, that’s why they act violently against women and rape them.
But, I think prostitution will always exist and all what can be done is prevent that the daughters of these prostitutes will be socially discriminated and condemned to life the same horrible life as their mothers did.
I think no woman enjoys being a prostitute, society and poverty has pressed her into that role.
Men do take their advantages out of these women and force them to prostitute themselves and keep their money.
Men’s brain must change in the first place - No demand means that there won’t be any needs for this kind of service...

No its not needed anywhere in the world infact, if ppl are justifying this by saying girls wont be able to walk on the road in broad daylight then they are wrong, coz despite of all this still there are tortures (sexually, mentally, physically) done to females. Have a look around girls are still getting raped, molested and harrassed, be it young babies or teenagers or woman or a mother or nuns or older...This is the hard fact, and none of the married females would like their husbands to go to prostitutes to fulfil their sexual desires. Wish men could understand and put themselves into our shoes and see things. They feel they are men so they get the license to do anything and everything they want and desire and no one will ask them a single question. I pity their thinking and self made standards and pride.
And Mr. Zafarull, How dare you call Hinduism is not a religion?? Mind your Bloody words...instead of pin point on other religion please look into yours and then talk about other religion bloody hypocrat.

..Honey...have you ever check / think ' how a woman become
prostitute '...by birth no body become.., the circumstances making them / compelling them....1.poverty..,(without education, without any sort of support...can you imagine how could a girl of 12/13 years old live in this world)..if you get a chance to watch those people who live on the road side or under the tree, or the beggars ( hope you are from India)..they must have some kids with them...just imagine the life of a girl child of them...what type of security they could afford to protect that girl?..naturally somebody takes her to a brothel or she herself...get into this to earn some money for food...and later stage for to look after her children....so tell me who is the culprit? the society /government / or the woman.

Premarital, extramarital or unwed sexual activities are not barred or prohibited hence no offence punishable in ANY INDIAN LAW. A wife’s sexual intercourse with other/s is also no offence, hence no prosecution or punishment to her. Even her sex partner also cannot be punished, if was unaware of her wedlock or had sex with consent or connivance of her husband. Her husband alone can prosecute him but not the police, court or the wife. After divorce also her earning husband has to maintain or pay till she remarries (if unable), even if she is permanently & continuously enjoying sex openly with all other/s. Pre marital sexual intercourses with other/s cannot be a ground to seek divorce under the HINDU or SPECIAL Marriage Acts. Thus a female’s physical sexual relations with persons/s of her choice (with their consent) is not an offence or prohibited / barred in any INDIAN LAW and she is at liberty to enjoy the sex freely and fearlessly. A male’s physical sexual relations with any 16+ female (with her consent) is no offence or barred / prohibited in any Indian Law, unless she is in the wedlock of somebody else and is done knowing her wedlock or without her husband’s consent or connivance. Courts have to believe that children born during the wedlock are her husband’s legitimate ones. He is bound to maintain or pay their expenses; till sons are 18+ and daughters are married.
Prostitution (commercial sex trade, offering sex for monetary gain) alone is an offence punishable in INDIAN LAWS.
All unwed sexual relations are quite barred and prohibited ONLY in ISLAM and termed in clearly written unambiguous words as the heinous crime punishable with PUBLICLY death by pelting stones or lashes, and a great sin punishable in hell eternally.
Hinduism never considered it bad or wrong. Hindus are free to act as per their own will and wish. Hindus have no religious guidance to control them as to the right/wrong and follow their own will and wish. Hinduism is not a religion. It is a custom, tradition, culture and the way of Hindus' lives in Hindustan (India).
