I cannot say for sure, but the way things are running now, I think anyone else could have and would have done a better job. Bush is trying to change the constitution to suit his needs, Iraq and their weapons of mass destruction was a lie. they did not find a doggone firecracker in that place. He wants to spy on whomever he pleases, and the public is quiet about it. I believe anyone else could have done better. this is only me.

George w had to clean up the 8yr mess of the Clinton admin.
and am curious to find out what different road that Kerry would have taken us down.. he did a great job under circumstances after 911 .. i guess we will see what happens next year..

What precisely do you think Kerry could have done better. Do you think his plan of running to the corrupt dictators of the UN would have worked in Iraq any better?
They fled Iraq a long time ago, they are way more corrupt than any other private corporation yet Kerry's plan was to have THEM bail us out.
I am not thrilled with some of the things I see Bush do but it is way better than what we were offered.

John McCain was for far more troops from the start and was very vocal about it. Civil War never would have erupted and foreign insurgents could have been curtailed to a far greater degree. Iran would really be in a pickle because the vast majority of Iranians are pro-American and want their Democracy too. The surge has proven John McCain correct. He has more experience to run this country than all candidates combined.

doubtful. given the mess that clinton/gore had us in with al qaeda by ignoring it for eight years, the effect with al wouldve been obvious, and given that the pelosi/reid regime favors unilarteral surrender the effect wouldve been obvious too.
