Working out DOES NOT stop your growth in any way. I started a pretty good workout routine was I was about 15. Back then I was 5'7 or 5'8. Now I'm 16 and 5'10, and I still work out. Lifting weights is perfectly fine, just don't lift weights that are too heavy.

Exercise actually stimulates growth by releasing insulin-like growth factor 1 (according to wikipedia) from the liver.

Where the heck do you get these totally false ideas? Lifting weights does not stunt your height or its growth. And it has absolutely nothing to do with your penis (unless you screw with steroids).

I am 6 foot and have lifted weights since I was 14. I am now 54. My son is 6' 2" and has been lifting since he was 15 years old.

Lift away without concern.

It doesn't stop growth in any way. Otherwise you'd have a lot of very short athletes. While you might not work out lifting weights, a lot of teenage athletes do and they aren't short and haven't stopped growing because of it.
