Israel has weapons of mass destruction (like nukes). Hamas doesn't. Israel has more money than Hamas does. Israel is mostly Jews and Hamas isn't. They both carry out terrorist acts, and the methods are about the same on both sides, although the Israelis are much better equipped. I personally think that Hamas is more in the right than Israel is, and I don't like it that my tax dollars are sent to Israel. I wish the US government would stop giving my money to the Jews.

Israel does not target civilians. There are specific terrorist groups (e.g. Hamas) which present Israel with an existential threat. Israel has the right to target them. As is the case, no war is ever clean, and no war is without civilian casualties. Since these terrorist groups are among civilian populations (and in many cases, densely populated, e.g. Gaza) this makes it especially difficult. End result is that Israel ends up killing civilians.
Hamas, on the other hand, does not target the Israel military. It specifically targets civilians. Not only that, but they do not even bother denying that they do and even try to justify it. That is how they get the apt label of "terrorists".
Perhaps you disagree with Israel's tactics. That being the case, I'd be very interested in hearing from you what Israel can do otherwise to deal with Hamas and other terrorist groups. (On the other hand, I'd find it unlikely that you can come up with anything good, so don't bother.)

The difference is that Israel has killed far more because Hamas does not have sophisticated means of destruction. They derail a bus here and blow up another there, but still cannot reach the level of atrocities committed by the State of Zion.

the major difference is that Israel has international support in two forms: monetary aid, and political legitimacy.
Therefore Israel is capable of larger, more deadly attacks with a great deal less responsibility in the international community to answer for what has been done.

Israel is a recognised and declared country. It's soldiers wear Uniforms and Have signed the Geneva convention. Hamas is at best a store front for Iranian terror.
