There was a James Bond (or similar type of) movie once that had shuttles flying to the moon in one scene. It never happened in real life, though, which just goes to show you how the media can make people believe in things that never happened and maybe even in things that can never happen. It's a good thing we have the INTERNET today, where the truth can always make an appearance and where it is not possible for a few rich media masters to control everybody's ideas about science and technology and political candidates. Right, Ron Paul?

Shuttles are incapable of travelling to the Moon. They serve as Earth orbital craft only. The only manned craft to reach the Moon are the US Apollo spacecraft. There were really two spacecraft, a command/service module (CSM) for flight out and return to Earth, and a lunar module (LM) for landing and return to lunar orbit. The missions that flew to the Moon were named as follows:
Apollo 8: This was a simple orbital flight with no landing and no lunar module. The spacecraft was simply called Apollo 8.
Apollo 10: The CSM was called Charlie Brown, the LM Snoopy.
Apollo 11: CSM Columbia, LM Eagle
Apollo 12: CSM Yankee Clipper, LM Intrepid
Apollo 13: CSM Odyssey, LM Aquarius (no landing due to an oxygen tank explosion on the outward journey)
Apollo 14: CSM Kitty Hawk, LM Antares
Apollo 15: CSM Endeavour, LM Falcon
Apollo 16: CSM Casper, LM Orion
Apollo 17: CSM America, LM Challenger
Also part of the Apollo program were Apollo 7, an Earth orbital flight of the CSM only, simply designated Apollo 7, and Apollo 9, an Earth orbital test flight of the CSM and LM, in which the CSM and LM were named Gumdrop and Spider respectively.

no shuttle has flown to the moon.
but iam sure with a little modification of the shuttle, it would probably make it to the moon, but the logistics involved would be literally, astonomical!.
