His daft sense of humour, and ability to put up with my sarcasm directed at him.

And how even though he's 45, he still acts like a 7 year old most of the time, singing Disney songs and always being first in line for slides at a water park, and telling daft jokes.

And how he's not the typical Dad- he doesn't laze around drinking beer and watching football, he doesn't go down the pub, he's not rude or crude, and he's nice to talk to.

Also, he gave me the greatest childhood ever with the silly voices he put on to play with my toys, and he fuelled my imagination to be daft and make up little songs and think of ridiculous scenarios to act out. He never refused to play, and never shunned my ideas.

Even if I do tease him and insult him sometimes, he puts up with it. And I know deep down I wouldn't have him any other way ^_^

My dad has some of the best qualities about him.. To start with, he is one of the most 'honest" hard working people there is. He is a real, laid back, easy going guy. Never takes things real serious, and never dwells on the negative. He has the best sense of humor. in times of tragedy, he would still be making everybody laugh. My dad has been known to be quite the "party animal" back in the day!..I hope when I get to be his age, that I can have (even half) the same outlook on life as he does..

I admire the fact that he took care of and loves my two older brothers as if they're his own kids.

his perseverance. he may not be a rich-born dad but he has deep faith in all he does, and he's not selfish' he always thinks of his family first before anything else. and hwatever he does, he does it perseverely for us to follow his footsteps. he's one great dad and i guess having him as a father is real treat from God. =)
