I`ve been a butcher for 20 years but have never personaly killed an animal.
the Abattoir does most of the killing.
if you eat meat an animal HAS to die
its up to us to make the life and death of the animals we eat as comfortable and painless as possible.
I have always disagreed with blood "sports"

I have , and so long as it is for food I do not have any problem with it. I had 2 babies and lived hundreds of miles from the nearest town/city so hunting was a way of survival.
I do not believe in "trophy" hunting, that is for the antlers etc only, and leaving the meat to rot...now that I take serious issue with!!!

Yes, when I was in the army my team and I hadn't eaten in 4 days. We found a wild pig and well he became our breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 2 days until we were able to be re-supplied.
