Absolutely. Milk from milk banks come from mothers that are pre-screened to meet health requirements. Milk is then gently pastuerized, usually so that it can survive transport. If you can afford it, breastmilk from a bank is safer than formula.

Holy cow! I just asked almost an identical question :) But to answerr your question yes it's safe- but from what i have heard, it is usually about $90 a day!!! Try milk share instead. They have a website. Good lcuk!

I agree with RT (R), use your own or use formula if there is a medical reason why you can't use your breast milk. I wouldn't and don't trust breast milk from a milk bank.

I would assume that it was screened in the same manor as blood would be. And so relatively safe.
