Honestly? I think of Evelyn (Evie) from the movies The Mummy and The Mummy Returns (or is it The Return of the Mummy? I can never remember). But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I really don't like Evelyn, but if you do I have a suggestion. Something that may sound a little more modern, but similar is my daughters name Avalynn. You say it just as it sounds Ava Lynn.

the first answerer "Jill" was right. It is the name for an ederly Grandmother, my husband's 90 year old grandmother actually!! But she was once a little girl right? So I think the name is beautiful and the nickname Eve or Evie is very sweet.
