Yes Craig I do. Why use your energies preparing for something that may not happen? We do, however, know that our personal life is going to end,so I think that it more productive to live it so that we personally have no regrets on our death beds - well, as few regrets as possible. To do this we need to live the most productive life that we can. I am on the last part of my life and I am quite happy to go not because I have a lot of money but because I have tried to be kind and helpful. I worked to support myself. I also made a good few opportunities to enrich the quality of my thinking and looked after my health. I've wander a bit from your queation but it seems an utter waste to prepare for an event that is unlikely to happen within the next decade.

Whats the point of preperation, If the end came suddenly there would be no point of preparing as you may only have half of the stuff sorted if it was a material preperation.
Now mentally, thats different but then you would spend all your time worrying.
If the end would come gradually and you could date it(approx) then you could prepare but prepare whatever you wanted where could you go and what could you do? Nothing!!!!

I don't know or know of anyone who is preparing for the end of the world... It's just business as usual at my end of the swamp.

Today will be the end of the world for thousands of people worldwide. Tomorrow will see thousands of more people leaving.....the earth is like a big bus ride...some get on, some get off, while others keep on riding until they can't ride no more....

preparing yourself spiritually for the end of the world is not a bad thing. however, it becomes really ugly when your life revolves around the thought and fear of the apocalypse. once a person is spiritually prepared for it, i do believe that they do not need to exagerate it.

Yeah they heard that REM song one two many times....its the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. They sang this boppy little tune about the Apocalypse with a neat catchy little tune...I am with REM on this one...and I feel fine.

this question is a lil tricky i dont think that people can physically prepare themselves for the world to end because it will be destroyed but we can prepare ourselves religiously with faith anything is possible remember when we die we are going to want at least two minutes to repent and accept god as our savior but when we do die it will be the end so do wat you can know to get closer to god
