Good question, but a alarm clock is already on and ticking, so it can't come on either! can it?

OK, I try to be a lady on here.. so bear w/ me..
an alarm clock is already on.. so when the alarm goes off it is kinda of like an explosion....right??? Right !!!!! well, what would it sound like to say.. Jack On.. ?

Well, if we said it was on, then the clock being off would be the regular time..and it wouldn't work! See, if we said that the clock making the beeping noises was on, then the rest of the time the clock would be off--which would be terrible becuase then you wouldn't be able to get anywhere, becuase it's off [=

LoL.. yeah.. thats cute... ! I think of it this way though... When somebody's, yelling, and screaming at you, being really annoying...!..What do you call that:: *Somebody Going Off On You!* When a person likes you, wants to go out with you, telling you what they want to do to you..... You say ::*There Coming On To Me* So when that clock starts screeching at 5 a.m... its like somebody's going off on you!..definitely not coming on to you!
