I have a morning star (it's like a smaller, hand-held version of the old spiked ball on a chain, like Mel Gibson used in Braveheart) for protection in my house. Other than that, I find shooting a 9 mm handgun to be an enjoyable sport.

a mini mag-light.
It's not lethal in and of itself, but if you know how to use it right, it is a devastating tool for causing serious hurt. Plus, there is absolutley NOWHERE you can't carry one. An airport, classroom, courthouse, you name it.
Go ahead and laugh, but I teach personal self defense and I give one to every student.

Catapult. I just wonder what the thinking was behind it:
"Hmm...we've got all these boulders...but the enemy is WAAAY over there...there MUST be a way to drop these boulders directly on them..."
