It will be hard, if you can't keep temptation out of your own home (if they are drinking). If I was you, and the other person really cared for you, I'd make it an unbreakable rule that while they can drink away from the house, they cannot drink at home, or bring ANY into the house.
Otherwise I don't know how well, or how long, you can avoid temptation.

Yep cos if the recovering drinker is properly over the drink issues then theres no reason why not. But if the tempetations there - then questions about your recovery need to be addressed.

the odds are not in your favor that's for sure.. i would think the other one would be willing to not do it.. but if its a new relationship you might have to find another one that is not going to jeopardize it. good luck

I think unless you are amazingly strong, there's a big chance you will be overwhelmed by temptation.

~yup...u can do it. u will forever be in a recovery mode, and always in jeopardy of that. that is the beauty of recovery! congrats and hang in there. some days are easier than others.~
