No, I went with the bare floor instead of the carpet. Its not as warm, but nicer looking.

Yes. All beige.
I want to put in wood flooring very soon.
Carpet is hard to keep clean when you have children and animals running around on it.
But you can count on it my new floor and drapes will match.
