As the best cook in the world?

I cook for my mom now, when she was able to cook, it was delicious, and my mom kept the house very clean. she is the mother of 7 children, we are all grown and we wish and dream we could still have some of Mom's good cooking.
She used to get calls from people wanting her to make german chocolate cakes for weddings and parties.
At one time there was a man who would come to our home with boxes full of groceries, so that my mom would cook for him. he brought enough for our whole family, even though my dad made enough to take good care of us.

My mom is a decent cook but, as she's been married for 25 years, since she was almost twenty, she got bored with cooking for us and she has stopped having fun with it...
besides, I could not think of my mom as the best cook in the world since I am this person...and you come in the second place ;)

Yes, she was the best cook in the world.
Sadly, as much as I try I still can't get the things I cook to taste as good as hers.

This is weird, but I actually prefer my own cooking. I like things really lite, and my mother cooks more like soul food. Seriously, it's not lite.
She still gives some of the best hugs though. :)

Absolutely! She's still the best cook in the world, and she's in her mid 70's now.

Unfortunately, no. My father did all of the cooking. (He's still alive (84) but he could make delicious things!) But my mother could make a mean bundt cake, and her yummy famous chocolate sheet cake. Which was good. But my dad was the CHEF. (not like the Chef on South Park, ha)
