I know that christmas is all about the spirit, but I have my eye on this ring at Zales with about 100 baguettes it kind of looks like yin and yang to me...and I want to get my kids the IPanda the big one for my little guy and the big attack dinobot for my older son and my daughter will be more difficult to get for so I am going to give her a gift certificate to Kohls and we will have to go shopping after christmas because she is sooooooooooooo picky. I usually get one big thing for each child then get a bunch of little things to go around the big thing...By george I think I have been bitten by the christmas bug too but not the right bug, the retail one...aaaaaah!!!

I wouldn't start on " MERRY CHRISTMAS" comments to people until AFTER Thanksgiving! One holiday at a time! People seem to forget the true meaning of Christmas.. and I know the stores are already stockin the aisles with Santas and snowmen.. but I'd wait until atleast December for that!

I suppose if the mood strikes you, you can say Merry Christmas whenever you feel like it. No one can tell you you're not allowed to say it.
I think, personally, that it's a little early. I would wait until after Thanksgiving or maybe even the week of Thanksgiving (which isn't all that far away).
I can totally understand your excitement about Christmas, though!! :)

We can't say Merry Christmas in Canada anymore. Too many foreigners are offended. Ha! Watch Canadian TV (news stations especially), they are forced to say Happy Holiday's instead of Merry Christmas. What kind of bullplop is that? I hate Canada's border and immigration. Too lax.

It is never too early to say Merry Christmas. There has already been tons of commercials on TV with Christmas music.

way too early. people will think you are crazy. you should wait til at least the same month it is in. come on. i don't say it til a week or two before, but i understand some people just can't wait that long.
