The Pacific Giant Octopus isn't all so big.If you want giant,go far up north with the great blue whales for huge squids.
personally I prefer abalone or small squid made into calamaris,yummy : p

No, it's a giant septapus. He lost one of his arms in a boating accident. Tragic, really. But he gets along alright.

I've eaten small octupi (sp?) and it was actually pretty good. Never eaten a giant one though.
