Due to my being absolutely terrified by both of these abnormally large/hideous birds I don't think I would be able to go on with my life.

I would wear goggles 24/7. I would be so afraid of getting pecked that I would probably just come up with a whole set of armor. I'll help you make some too, after I get my 10 points lol

The first thing I would do is learn how to tell the difference between an ostrich and an emu. A mistake like that would certainly would make for a terrible first impression.

well, apparently ostriches can't see you if you lay flat on the ground... so I'd avoid them but use that strategy if needed.
emus, on the other hand... I think I'd just throw sticks at them, maybe. start a rebellion with a group of squirrels ...
or I'd hide out in an abandoned bomb shelter till they all flew south for the winter.

Don't worry! These birds, though large, do not have the brain capacity to do any real harm to any one!! They are beneficial only for killing & harvesting the parts off them we need!

casserole with mushrooms is what i would do. would be beautiful emu casserole or ostrich casserole with almonds and some variation every night. they cannot take over my stone house in this country. they will feed me family for years.

It won't happen as long there are moose gangs.
Be on the side of the mooses and your lunch money will be safe from the big birds.
